How we verify
A person reads the source before a rule is marked Verified. Every rule shows the source and the date. When sources disagree, we say so.
Which sources we trust
- Government authorities: CDC and USDA (USA), GOV.UK and APHA (UK), the Department of Agriculture (Australia), DAHD and AQCS (India), Indian embassies and consulates.
- The airline's own policy pages and tariffs.
- Airline press releases.
- Reputable news reports.
Agency and booking-site guides help us spot changes, but never count as the only source for a Verified rule.
What the labels mean
- Verified Matches an official source or the airline's own page, checked on the date shown.
- Reported, confirm Comes from news or an airline press release only. Confirm before you rely on it.
- Sources conflict Sources disagree. We show what each says and which we think is current.
- Due for re-check Last checked more than 45 days ago. Shown automatically.
What we do not do
- We do not give veterinary advice: no sedation, medication or health guidance. Ask your vet.
- We do not publish invented reviews, testimonials or expert credentials. No vet has reviewed this site yet, and we will name one if that changes.
- Partner agencies never edit or approve our rules.
How often we re-check
Country rules and airline policies monthly, and immediately when a source page changes or a change is reported. Airline fees before the October to December peak.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft and to watch sources for changes. A person reads every source before a rule is published or marked Verified.
